About The Doctor

Dr. Tania Damavandy is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and is board certified in Aesthetic Medicine. She graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine in 1999. Her residency training was completed at Tufts University New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts in 2003. 

Dr. Damavandy has always had an interest in alternative medicine, and became interested in aesthetic medicine in 2005, when her patients began requesting aesthetic procedures and she realized just how important this was in the mind-body-spirit connection. Looking for an opportunity to incorporate these aspects into her practice of medicine, she attended numerous courses and obtained certification in Aesthetic and Cosmetic medicine. Dr. Damavandy then partnered with Shenandoah Memorial Hospital to develop a medical spa in 2008. 

She is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists. Dr. Damavandy is also the first Associate of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute in the State of Virginia. She is also an international speaker and instructor for the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
